1st World Entrepreneurship Summit was organized on 2nd Feb (Saturday) 2019 at New Horizon
College of Engineering, main auditorium. It was organized in collaboration with MTC global and MBA
department of New horizon college of Engineering. The theme of the summit was Social
Entrepreneurship and Economic Development. The program started at 9 Am and went along till 9:30
PM. Eminent speakers from around the globe participated in the event. Various eminent delegates
and students from different parts of the globe participated in the Summit. Over all more than 500
participants joined for the Summit and made it a grand success.
The Key Note Speaker for the program was Mr. Amarendra Sahu Co-founder and CEO Nestaway. The
Guests of Honour were Mr. Pranab K Pani, Managing Director, Talendeate beyond Borders Pvt. Ltd;
Mrs. Lekha Sishta Vice President – Altruista Health, Talent Strategist, Convenor, CII, IWN- T, L & D,

The Chief Guests for the program were Barrister Shameem Haider Patwary, Hon. Member of

Two book launches were also done during the summit, the first one with the name, “The 10 Mantras
of Entrepreneurship~ Initiating the Entrepreneurial Spirit”, Authored by Shri Swapan Kumar Ghosh,
Managing Director, KMRIPL, WB. And the second one, Born Smiling by Prof. K Ravi.
The first session of the summit was about Experience Sharing on ‘Beggars to Entrepreneurs Model
by PKSF, Govt. of Bangladesh’ and was delivered by Mr. Md. Nazim Ud Dowladh, Research
Consultant, Bangladesh Centre for Research and Development & PhD Researcher, Bangladesh
University of Professionals. And Mr. A H M Habibur Rahman, President Entrepreneurship
Development Training Program & Ex Professor , Department of Finance University of Dhaka,
Bangladesh.
The second session of the summit was on Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development and
was delivered by Ahmad Wali Rostami MBA, TESOL (TCCP), Co-Founder and Deputy Director, Quality
Education and Sustainable – Development Support Org. (QESDSO), Afghanistan.
The post lunch session was a PANEL DISCUSSION and following personalities were a part of it.
