The Department of Management studies has conducted expert lecture on Stock Market Operation on 5th March 8, 2019 for 2nd Semester by Nitin from Zerodha Company. He gave brief introduction about basics of stock market and functions of stock market. He told how beneficial is to invest in stock market. He told about different instruments to invest your money on stock market. The most essential part of the session was he gave clear information about how important is to save money and invest the savings.

He also told about people’s perception about investing in stock market, about the risk factor were people always step back to invest in stock market but that is not the case in stock market, he said if you invest wisely there is less chances of risk which leads to lot of earnings.

He gave glimpse of mutual funds, intraday, portfolio management, small cap, mid cap, NSE, BSE, NYSE. He said it very beneficial to invest wisely in stock market rather than investing in savings accounts were we get nominal returns.
