A number of facilities are provided to the physically and mentally challenged ones in SWANTHANA like:

  • 50 beds for the mentally retarded children
  • Confidential services are provided without distinction of castes, creed and religion.
  • Medical assistance
  • Education
  • Entertainment-play, games and music.

It was indeed a great attempt made by the students wherein a large contribution was made by students of various departments of the college in terms of groceries and other daily items. The faculty and the students served as a helping hand by providing food, toiletries, and blanketsfor their daily needs. A numberof activities were conducted in order to motivate the children. The children portrayed their talent by singing songs, drawing beautiful pictures etc. This gave an opportunity for all of us to realise and value the things God has bestowed upon us.
