A session on the topic “An Overview of Securities Market” was organised by Department of Management Studies of New Horizon College of Engineering. The honourable speaker of the session was Ms. Anisha Jain, financial coach at HerMoney talks. The session aimed on helping students understand and know the basics of securities market and how stock exchange work. It was an informative and interactive session that helped students know about the basics of stock market trading, types of public issues in primary vs secondary markets, options for investors and do’s and don’ts while investing in securities market. We thank Dr Sheelan Mishra head of department of management studies for organizing such a useful session and helping students to gain knowledge.
