Employability Skill Assessment
On 23rd November, 2019 Department of Management Studies had organized an employability skill assessment test to students of I semester. The main objective of the session is to make them understand the basic skills necessary for getting, keeping and doing well on a job and to develop a career. The assessment involved a mix of, group discussions and Personal Interview to help students learn out of their experience.
Round1: Aptitude:
It was designed to help students master the fundamentals and techniques of analytical skills and potential to succeed in a certain task, with no prior knowledge or training. It included quant, logical reasoning, general English and current affairs
Round 2: Group Discussion:
It was modeled on actual group discussion formats through the fundamentals – right from understanding selection parameters, to differentiating yourself from the group with your powerful ideas and right mindset as a team player and leader.
Round 3: Personal Interview:
An interview is a crucial conversation intended to assess the overall personality, clarity of thought and communication skills of the candidate. It helped to prepare students better through pre-interview self-introspection drills, practice interviews and individual feedback. Hence, The assessment was designed in order to raise awareness and develop an understanding of the importance of employability and employability skills among students.
