Department of Management Studies, NHCE organized a Leadership Summit session on

“Leadership Sutras: Experiment, Experience, Evolve” in Falconry Seminar Hall, NHCE.  Dr. Ranga Reddy, Chief Guest – CEO & Founder, Legend Technologies was the Chief Guest for the Inaugural Session. He had given insights on the recent practices of Leadership in Industries. Examples of Industry practices were discussed. Followed by a Panel Discussion by Mr. Nandeesh, (Industry Moderator), Mr. Mohan Kumar and Mr. Ravi Kumar. Mr. Shreyas, III Year ISE was the student Moderator. The discussion was on Leadership styles, Leadership Strategies, Experimenting with Leaders’ sutras. A Leader focuses on people, does the right things, influences, inspires, motivates, builds the team. Leading during Complex and uncertain times include Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity. The Skills required for Leaders are Adaptability, Self-Awareness, Boundary Spanners, Collaborators and Network Thinkers. Four trends for the future of Leadership Development includes more focus on Vertical development, Transfer of greater developmental ownership, Greater focus on collective rather than individual leadership and much greater focus on innovation in Leadership developmental methods. We thank Dr Sheelan Misra, Professor & Dean – Department of Management studies for organizing such an insightful session that is relevant to the industry and for constantly encouraging and motivating students.
