Orientation Program On Trakinvest Software On 22/08/2019
On 22nd August, 2019 Department of Management Studies signed an MOU with Fintech Infosystem Pvt Ltd for establishing an Investment Lab for using the virtual simulation – TrakInvest. This platform gives pro investor access to real market data from multiple global exchanges to trade in.
Once the MoU was signed, an orientation was given by Ms. Urvi Babla, the company representative to students of finance specialization. The session began by giving a basic knowledge about the stock market and better understanding about the ways an individual can gain returns by investing in a stock market through explaining various case study. She explained analogy of picking right stock for investment by taking an example of E-Commerce gaint Amazon in India.
The session focused on how to use Trakinvest in real time by showing that user are given “virtual”currency and the personal trading account. They can virtually invest and crowd source the best ideas across 9 major exchanges (India, US, China, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong). TrakInvest online portal helped students to have a better understanding by gaining hands on experience of trading in the virtual stock market without losing any actual money and hence thereby learn the tricks to excel in the real stock market.
