Workshop on Framing of Hypothesis
The Department of Management Studies had organized a workshop on Framing of Hypothesis on 21/03/2024. The programme was conducted to provide expert insights to the I semester students with regards to the concept of hypothesis. The resource person for the event was Dr. Sandhya S who is working as a Professor & Research Guide- Head Strategy & Leadership, OB & OD, Change Management in Nitte School of Management, Bangalore. She provided in-depth insights into the concept of hypotheses, explaining how to formulate them and the foundational principles behind their definition. Additionally, she guided the students through various hypothesis tests, including the chi-square test, and explained the importance of the level of significance in research testing. The entire session was rich in knowledge, and the students gave highly positive feedback regarding the resource person’s subject expertise and teaching skills.
