Stock Market Workshop- Learn, Explore, and Invest
The Department of MBA organized a Stock Market Workshop in collaboration with StockByte on the 2nd and 3rd of June 2025. The session was led by Mr. Kishore B. S., a seasoned finance educator. A total of 151 students participated and were divided into two batches for better engagement. The workshop aimed to provide a practical understanding of stock market operations. Students were introduced to the basics of stock market function and their role in the financial system. Mr. Kishore explained fundamental analysis, focusing on evaluating companies using financial statements. He also covered technical analysis, teaching students how to interpret candlesticks, bars, and line charts.
A key highlight of the workshop was the discussion on investor psychology and biases in human behaviour. The importance of emotional control in trading decisions was emphasized. Practical strategies for market entry and exit were shared, enhancing students’ risk management skills. The sessions were interactive, with active student participation in discussions and Q&A. Real-world examples helped bridge theory with practice.
Students gained confidence in understanding investment concepts. The workshop sparked interest in financial literacy and market participation. The Department expressed gratitude to Mr. Kishore and StockByte for delivering a valuable and impactful learning experience.
