CLUB ACTIVITIES

Finwiz was a Finance event. The first round of the event was Financial Quiz, conducted in A303 of Department of Management studies, New Horizon college of Engineering. The quiz consists of 30 questions based on general finance and Current affairs. The participants were given 30 mins to complete the quiz. The first round started at 10:00 Am and it was concluded at 10:30 Am. Based on the scores, 50% of the least scoring participants were eliminated after first round.

Second round of the event FinWiz started at 1:00 Pm on the same day. The second round was Financial Modelling and Decision Making, conducted in A303 of Department of Management studies, New Horizon college of Engineering. The second round was based on providing insights on a proper investment decision by analysing the company’s balance sheets. Participants were at a leverage of using internet to find solutions for the problems they encountered to understand the balance sheets. Based on the performance of each team, judges gave the scores and accordingly the teams were taken ahead for the next round.
