69th Kannada Rajyotsava Celebrations

The Department of Management Studies celebrated the 69th Kannada Rajyotsava on November 6, 2024, honoring Karnataka’s foundation with a vibrant day of cultural events and ceremonies. Esteemed guests, Ms. Sudha Baragur, a renowned humourist, and Mr. Mimicry Dayanand, a mimicry artist, brought humor and warmth to the celebrations. The program commenced with ceremonial lamp lighting, floral tributes, and the Naada Geethe, setting a solemn tone. This was followed by a lively Kamsale dance performance, showcasing Karnataka’s traditional art.

In his address, Principal Dr. Manjunatha emphasized the importance of preserving Karnataka’s heritage. The event continued with folk dances and Kannada songs performed by students, celebrating the state’s rich culture. Ms. Sudha Baragur and Mr. Mimicry Dayanand’s humor-filled performances delighted the audience, adding joy to the occasion. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and sweet distribution, instilling a sense of pride and unity among all attendees and reflecting the college’s commitment to Karnataka’s cultural heritage.
