Department of Management Studies, NHCE organized an Alumni Talk on “Data Visualization and Info graphics in Project Management and Reporting”. The speakers of this session were Mr. P Nicholas Niranjan & Mr. Nidheesh Pillai. The session provided an idea of how data is represented using common graphics such as charts, plots, infographics and animations, etc. And it helped the students to understand in a simpler form by highlighting the trends and outliers. The speakers also told how data visualization allows business users to gain insight into their vast amounts of data, it also benefits them to recognize new patterns and errors in the data. On the whole, it was an informative session for the students.
