New Horizon College of Engineering, Department of Management studies headed by the HOD Dr Guru Basava Aradhya had organised orientation session for 1st year students on “Professional Ethics and Value System.”
The expert speaker for the session was on 21st December 2023 was Dr. Mahesh Pavan Sathavalli, who is a program manager at wpp India IT.A dynamic and Accomplished leader a strong background in IT and a passionate mentor evoked to encourage & empower rural students, entrepreneurs on communication and life skills sir shared his enomourous knowledge and guided us to the path of success. The vital objective of the session was to make students realise the reality of Industry and Society requirements on various professional etiquettes and social value system. The speaker enlightened on various associated concepts using real time practical examples and ensure students understand The program specified on concepts like:
- Role of marketing- How to actually perceive the knowledge and attitude of market from a consumer perspective
- KASH & CCC Concept- Knowledge, Attitude, Skill, Habit & Convince, Confuse & Corrupt; to enhance and build Individual’s character.
- Industry difference’s
- Various ways for advertisement to catch the customers’ view.
- Brief on Industrial revolution.
- How to direct oneself using various professional qualities to upscale as required by the market both academically as well as non-academically.
- Difference between experience and expertise, and many more.

It truly was a knowledge sharing and successful interactive session wherein 100students from 1st year understood the value of such etiquettes with very simple examples on a real time basis. We thank Principal and the Management of New Horizon College of Engineering for providing extended support for conducting the event.
