SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS

The Department of Management Studies organised a six-day workshop on Power BI for the MBA 2025–27 batch from 4th to 9th May 2026. The sessions were conducted by Mr. Raghu Prasad K. S., CEO of Kaushalya Technologies, for all three sections of second-semester MBA students.

The workshop was designed to provide participants with practical exposure to data visualisation and business analytics using Microsoft Power BI. Through hands-on training, students learned to create interactive dashboards, develop visual reports, and analyse data effectively. The programme enabled participants to understand how raw data can be transformed into meaningful insights that support informed business decision-making.

An assessment was conducted at the end of the training to evaluate students’ understanding and application of the concepts covered during the sessions. Upon successful completion of the programme, all participants were awarded certificates.

The workshop highlighted the growing significance of Visual Analytics in today’s business environment. Students from various specialisations gained valuable insights into the application of analytics across marketing, finance, human resources, and operations. The sessions also enhanced their reporting and presentation skills through effective data visualisation techniques.

Overall, the workshop strengthened students’ analytical capabilities and equipped them with industry-relevant skills required for data-driven decision-making and professional success in the corporate world.
